What is Linux4US?
Linux4US Blog Recent Posts

Linux4US is a Users' Group in support of GNU/Linux and FSF/Open Source at the University of Saskatchewan. Any Staff, Faculty or Student of the University of Saskatchewan can join Linux4US by subscribing to the mailing list.

  • The mailing list is a great place to introduce yourself if you are new to the linux community, as well as a great place to ask questions.
  • Monthly meetings will be held over a lunch hour on campus. This will hopefully increase participation with minimal intrusion on work and class schedules.
  • Venue, time and date will be announced at each meeting as well as posted on the website.
  • LINUX4US members are encouraged to share their books and resources, relating to GNU/Linux and FSF/Open Source, with each other.
Linux4US Focus.

There is a growing community of Linux enthusiasts at the University of Saskatchewan who want to help each other use and learn about the GNU/Linux operating systems and FSF/Open Source.

Linux4US is dedicated to promoting GNU/Linux at the University of Saskatchewan. We intend to do this by educating people about GNU/Linux and helping people start using GNU/Linux, by making it easily accessible and providing the initial assistance to getting started with Linux.

Linux4US is not bias to a specific distribution of the GNU/Linux operating system. We encourage memebers to share their knowledge and experience from their individual perspectives.
